Pioneering the multi-family industry
IW25 IN Wall/ON Wall Dehumidifier helps remove moisture to reduce the risks associated with high humidity indoors. This innovative technology combines bi-polar ionization with the IW25 tamper-proof and tankless dehumidifier. A successful humidity removal strategy is encouraged to help protect apartment building structures and maximize indoor comfort. The unit was specifically designed to help lower indoor relative humidity in multifamily housing but works equally well in single-family homes. Supplemental dehumidification is no longer a luxury but a necessity for every living environment.
Tenant behavior and tighter building codes can lead to moisture generated indoors being trapped and causing high humidity.

TANKLESS | QUIET | RELIABLE | SLEEK
The tankless IW25 dehumidifier with combined ozone-free ionization includes hands-free draining – say goodbye to those annoying reservoir tanks. The dehumidifier system drains directly into hub drain or other plumbing with a gravity drainage system or an integrated condensate pump. Innovative Dehumidifier Systems has designed the first IN Wall/ON Wall dehumidifier with an optional interior housed condensate pump, for installations with limited gravity draining access. Easily installs in a variety of applications from conception to design, pre-construction to renovation, and already existing properties.
The IW25 In-Wall Dehumidifier features a slim design that recesses directly inside a 2 x 6 wall between studs spaced 16” on center or recesses through a 2 x 4 wall. For semi-recessed installations, an Exterior Sleeve (or bump out) is available for 2 x 4 applications where unit can not be fully installed through the wall and the finished back makes a nice presentation when visible in the environment.
Learn about the versatile installation options of the IW25.
The On-Wall Dehumidifier is designed for direct on wall mounting (no mounting accessories needed) on virtually any hard surface, including drywall, CMU block, masonry, concrete, brick or stucco. Perfect for existing homes and keeps relative humidity at ideal levels in unfinished basements.
Designed for everyday use the IW25 can remove nearly 30 pints of moisture per day in spaces up to 1,500 square feet*. Ideal for smaller spaces such as apartments, student housing, dorms, historic buildings and finished or unfinished basements. Additional features of the modern dehumidifier include a LED light for simplified maintenance, all-aluminum and microchannel coils to improve strength and longevity, easy to access washable/reusable filter, and alternate drain and power routing while offering either 120V plug-in or hardwire capabilities. Innovative Dehumidifier Systems provides reliable products and services backed with a full 5 YEAR WARRANTY on parts and labor.

The Right Size for Maximum Efficiency
On average a family of four produces over 25 pints of water a day through cooking, cleaning, bathing, perspiring, and even breathing. In order to maximize indoor air quality, an escape plan for moisture must exist. In the past, excess water has been able to escape through airflow, air conditioning, and ventilation. As construction techniques evolve to enhance comfort and efficiency, building envelopes become tighter and it is more difficult for moisture to escape. To properly dehumidify a space the most important factors to consider are the size of the area to be dehumidified and the moisture conditions in the space before dehumidification. Choosing the right size for supplemental dehumidification will maximize energy efficiency, save space, and produce less noise and heat.
Humidity Happens… What’s your Plan to Lower Humidity?
High Humidity Effects Comfort Indoors
Home comfort is important to everyone. As humans, we strive to come home from a day of stress and work to unwind, relax and play within the comforts of our own space. Thermal temperatures play a huge role in the comfort of a home; our body feels most comfortable when the heat produced equals the heat lost. Thermal comfort is achieved when air temperature, humidity, and air movement are in proper balance. Humans are sensitive to humidity since our skin relies on the air to release moisture. We sweat to cool our bodies, and if the air is at a high relative humidity, sweat will not evaporate into the air. When moisture is unable to leave our skin, we feel hotter. According to Felice Albay’s article, What is a Good Humidity Comfort Level, “maintaining the right humidity levels ensures that you have a healthier and more comfortable environment.

What is Tenant Behavior?
Tenant behavior is how we define the lifestyle, habits, and choices that occupants make throughout the day that affect the indoor environment.
Occupant choices that affect indoor living conditions include the thermostat setting, number of occupants, cleanliness of space, and more. Tenants are continuously generating moisture in their homes throughout the day, from cooking, showering, cleaning, hang drying clothing, watering plants, and perspiring. Some choose not to run their HVAC system at all while others leave windows open through the evening.
All tenants are different and depending on their preferred daily choices, this can have adverse effects on the structure of the home, property, management, and Indoor Air Quality.
