The IW25-4 IN-Wall Dehumidifier is designed for recessed wall mounting. For semi-recessed applications, an IDS Exterior Sleeve (sold separately) should be used for a polished, bump-out finish.
The IW25-4 ON-Wall Dehumidifier is designed for direct wall mounting on hard surfaces including drywall, CMU block, masonry, concrete, stucco, etc.
